Welcome to Convertr.org. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the website, services, and tools provided by Marin Solutions UG (haftungsbeschränkt) ("we," "our," or "us"). By using our website and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

1. Description of Service

Convertr.org provides free browser-based and server-side file conversion and utility tools, including video, audio, image, document, font, and other format conversions.

2. File Uploads and Content

• 1 GB Upload Limit: You may upload files up to 1 GB in size for conversion.
• Temporary Storage & Auto-Deletion: Uploaded and converted files are stored temporarily on our servers for the sole purpose of performing the conversion and allowing you to download the result.
• Auto-Deletion: All uploaded files and converted outputs are automatically and irreversibly deleted from our servers within 24 hours of upload. You can also manually delete files immediately using the provided delete button on the conversion page.
• No Access: We do not read, look into, copy, or mine any data from your files or their metadata. No third parties have access to your files unless you share the download link.

3. Acceptable Use

By using our service, you agree not to:

• Upload any files that contain viruses, malware, or other harmful code.
• Use our service to convert or process files that infringe on the intellectual property, copyright, privacy, or other proprietary rights of any third party.
• Attempt to bypass any security measures, overload our servers, or interfere with the proper working of the service.
• Use automated systems (except authorized API users) or scripts to access or extract data from the service in a manner that degrades service performance.

4. Disclaimer of Warranties

Our services are provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. Marin Solutions UG makes no warranties, express or implied, regarding the reliability, availability, timeliness, security, or accuracy of the service or that the conversion results will be error-free or meet your specific requirements.

5. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable German law, Marin Solutions UG (haftungsbeschränkt) shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, including but not limited to, loss of profits, goodwill, data, or other intangible losses resulting from:

• The use or the inability to use our service.
• Any technical issues, server downtime, or loss/corruption of files.
• Unauthorized access to or alteration of your transmissions or data.

6. Governing Law

These Terms and any disputes arising out of or related to your use of Convertr.org shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
