Is this PDF table extractor free?

Yes. Convertr converts selectable PDF tables to XLSX spreadsheets for free, with no account and no watermark.

Does this work with scanned tables?

Not yet. This MVP is for selectable-table PDFs. Scanned-table OCR is a later enhancement unless a reliable free local OCR path is proven.

What output formats are supported?

The PDF to Excel converter creates XLSX workbooks. Each detected table is written to its own worksheet so multiple tables stay editable in one file.

What is the maximum PDF file size?

You can upload PDF files up to 1 GB, the same intended limit as other Convertr tools.

Are table contents logged?

No. Analytics and logs use only safe buckets and technical error codes. Convertr does not log extracted cells, filenames, document text, or table content.

Does Convertr support encrypted PDFs?

Unlock the PDF first if you know the open password and are authorized to modify it. Encrypted PDFs cannot be read by the extractor.
