How Convertr.org prepares, reviews, updates, and corrects file format guides and product information.
Last updated: July 30, 2026
Purpose
Convertr publishes format explanations, comparisons, troubleshooting notes, and step-by-step guides to help users make informed conversion choices. Articles should answer a practical question and add useful context beyond the converter interface.
Who is responsible
Convertr.org is operated by Marin Solutions UG (haftungsbeschränkt). The same team that develops and operates the conversion service is responsible for its product documentation and blog. Articles identify the Convertr Editorial Team as the author and Convertr Operations as the technical reviewer because the guides document a team-maintained product rather than the personal views of an individual contributor.
How content is prepared
- Instructions are checked against the current Convertr interface and supported workflow before publication or a substantive update.
- Format and codec claims are compared with durable technical documentation or direct product behavior where practical.
- We avoid promising perfect conversion results when source files, codecs, fonts, metadata, encryption, or damaged data can affect the outcome.
- Links to Convertr tools are included when they are directly relevant to the reader’s task, not to disguise advertising as editorial advice.
Automation and review
Software and AI-assisted tools may help with research organization, translation, or drafting. They do not own the publication decision. Convertr remains responsible for the published page and reviews content for relevance, product accuracy, unsupported claims, and readable instructions.
Updates and dates
Article pages display their original publication date, the date of the latest substantive content update, and the technical review date. We change the content update date when instructions, conclusions, sources, product capabilities, supported formats, or other meaningful guidance changes. Formatting-only and template-only edits do not make an article appear newly updated.
Corrections
We correct confirmed errors in place so visitors and search engines reach the current guidance. If you find an inaccurate instruction, broken link, unsupported claim, or unclear disclosure, email [email protected] with the page URL and the specific issue. We review actionable correction reports and update the page when appropriate.
Advertising independence
Advertising helps fund the free service. Advertisers do not select article topics, approve our conclusions, or receive preferential product recommendations. Ads must remain visually separate from editorial copy and from upload, conversion, download, and navigation controls.
