Is this the same as extracting images from a PDF?

No. This tool renders whole PDF pages into image files. Use Extract Images from PDF when you want embedded images copied from the PDF instead.

Can I render every PDF page?

Yes. Choose all pages and Convertr packages the rendered JPG or PNG files into one ZIP archive.

What DPI should I choose?

150 DPI produces smaller images for screens and sharing. 300 DPI doubles each page dimension, producing four times as many pixels for print or detailed inspection. JPG output uses JPEG compression; choose PNG when you need lossless page images. There is no separate JPEG quality slider.
