Is this the same as extracting images from a PDF?

No. This tool renders whole PDF pages into image files. Use Extract Images from PDF when you want embedded images copied from the PDF instead.

Can I render every PDF page?

What DPI should I choose?

150 DPI is good for previews and smaller downloads. 300 DPI creates larger, sharper images for print or detailed inspection.

What is the maximum PDF file size?
