Image Color Palette Generator
Extract dominant colors from a logo, screenshot or photo and copy HEX, RGB, HSL and CSS custom properties. Everything is processed locally in your browser.
Drag and drop an image here, or paste an image from your clipboard.
Only local, browser-supported image files are accepted. Remote image URLs are not loaded.
Results are deterministic approximations. Fully transparent pixels are ignored and partial transparency is weighted consistently.
Stable dominant colors
A compact deterministic histogram makes repeated analysis of the same image and palette size reproducible.
Design-ready formats
Every swatch includes HEX, RGB, HSL and a CSS custom property for stylesheets, tokens and documentation.
No image upload
The browser decodes and downsamples only an analysis copy. Your original image is not changed or sent to a server.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is my image uploaded?
No. The image is decoded, downsampled and analyzed with browser APIs. Image bytes, filenames, pixels and palette values are not sent to Convertr servers.
Which image inputs work?
Use a local file, drag and drop, or paste an image from the clipboard. Remote URLs are not accepted, so third-party content cannot taint the analysis canvas.
Why are the palette colors approximate?
Photos, gradients, transparency and browser color management can affect sampling. The tool uses a deterministic sRGB histogram and explains the result as an approximation.
