Complete datasets, explicit failures
Every feature in the selected layer is written or the conversion fails. Shapefile field-name, field-type, geometry, and sidecar limits are checked instead of silently truncating data.
Private location data
Only upload coordinates and attributes you have authority to process. Filenames, layer names, field names, exact CRS codes, coordinates, bounds, and attribute values are excluded from logs and analytics.
No remote data access
The worker processes only the uploaded file. It does not fetch map tiles, remote schemas, URLs, virtual filesystems, or external datasets.
Format fidelity
GeoPackage and FlatGeobuf preserve richer schemas than Shapefile. GeoJSON output uses WGS 84; choose EPSG:4326 explicitly when the source uses another CRS.
