Interpretation limits

Truncated snapshots, checksum offload artifacts, encrypted traffic, disabled name resolution, unsupported dissectors, malformed packets and incorrect timestamps can limit interpretation. This is an analytical summary, not a lossless replacement for the original capture.

The inspector cannot capture interfaces, run display filters, decrypt sessions, reconstruct streams, discover credentials, extract files, score threats, geolocate addresses or contact external services.
