PCAP Viewer

Open a PCAP file online to inspect capture metadata, protocols, endpoints, conversations, DNS and TCP summaries without installing Wireshark.

Choose a .pcap or .pcapng file up to 1 GB. Upload only captures you are authorized to process; captures can contain sensitive addresses, hostnames, messages and credentials.

Interpretation limits

Truncated snapshots, checksum offload artifacts, encrypted traffic, disabled name resolution, unsupported dissectors, malformed packets and incorrect timestamps can limit interpretation. This is an analytical summary, not a lossless replacement for the original capture.

The inspector cannot capture interfaces, run display filters, decrypt sessions, reconstruct streams, discover credentials, extract files, score threats, geolocate addresses or contact external services.

HAR Viewer Inspect browser request timing, caching and transfer summaries, then sanitize the archive before sharing it.

PCAP Viewer

Inspect packet-capture metadata, protocols, endpoints, conversations, DNS, and TCP summaries.

Input
One supported PCAP or PCAPNG capture.
Output
Bounded packet summaries and fixed CSV or JSONL diagnostics.
Real limitations
Payloads are not reconstructed as full sessions, encrypted traffic remains encrypted, captures can contain sensitive data, and analysis is not intrusion certification.
Privacy and data handling
one supported PCAP or PCAPNG capture is uploaded to a compatible Convertr worker only after you start the operation. Processing is automated, and temporary source and result files are deleted automatically after processing rather than retained as permanent storage.

How to use this tool

  1. Choose one supported PCAP or PCAPNG capture and wait for the page to validate it.
  2. Set the available output or inspection options, then start processing.
  3. Review the reported result and download bounded packet summaries and fixed CSV or JSONL diagnostics before the temporary link expires.

Common failure modes

A corrupt capture, unsupported link type, truncated packet, unsafe size, or missing decoder support can limit or stop inspection.

Useful example

Open a small troubleshooting capture and filter DNS failures before exporting packet summaries to CSV.
