No active or remote content
HTML is reduced to plain text. Remote images, CSS, links, tracking pixels, scripts, macros, attachments, and S/MIME content are never fetched or executed. Unknown attachments are download-only.
Malformed mail stays explicit
Header, date, duplicate-header, transfer-encoding, missing-boundary, and MBOX dialect normalization can be imperfect. Defects are shown, and undecodable parts are available only through an explicit raw export.

- Active content is not executed, remote resources are not fetched, and encrypted or malformed MIME parts may not be readable.
- Privacy and data handling
- one .eml message file is uploaded to a compatible Convertr worker only after you start the operation. Processing is automated, and temporary source and result files are deleted automatically after processing rather than retained as permanent storage.
How to use this tool

Common failure modes
A broken MIME boundary, unsupported encoding, unsafe attachment name, or truncated message is reported instead of guessed.
