Disk Image Extractor & Inspector

Inspect partitions and filesystems in a disk image, then download only the ordinary files and folders you select.

Choose one disk image up to 1 GB.

Disk Image Extractor

Inspect supported optical, filesystem, and virtual-disk images without mounting them and extract selected ordinary files.

Input
One supported ISO, DMG, or virtual-disk image.
Output
A safe file listing and selected extracted files.
Real limitations
Encrypted volumes, damaged filesystems, links, device nodes, deleted-file recovery, and unsupported partition or filesystem types are not handled.
Privacy and data handling
one supported ISO, DMG, or virtual-disk image is uploaded to a compatible Convertr worker only after you start the operation. Processing is automated, and temporary source and result files are deleted automatically after processing rather than retained as permanent storage.

How to use this tool

  1. Choose one supported ISO, DMG, or virtual-disk image and wait for the page to validate it.
  2. Set the available output or inspection options, then start processing.
  3. Review the reported result and download a safe file listing and selected extracted files before the temporary link expires.

Common failure modes

An invalid partition table, encrypted container, unsafe path, or unsupported filesystem returns an inspection error.

Useful example

Open an ISO installer image, inspect its directories, and download a selected README file.
