Does this remove GPS location from photos?

Yes. The browser exports a new image from rendered pixels, so EXIF GPS coordinates and other original metadata blocks are not copied into the downloaded file.

Are my images uploaded?

No. This first release runs in your browser using local file reading and the Canvas API. Your selected image stays on your device.

Which file types are supported?

Browser-readable images such as JPG, PNG, WebP, GIF, and BMP are supported. Some HEIC or AVIF files may work when your browser can decode them.

Will the image quality change?

PNG output is lossless for the rendered pixels. JPEG and WebP output use the quality setting you choose, so they can reduce file size but may be lossy.

Format notes
