DCR
DCR is the camera RAW format of Kodak digital cameras. It stores unprocessed sensor data for later adjustment in RAW editors. Kodak no longer makes these cameras and app support is limited, so DCR files are often converted to JPG, PNG, or TIFF.

AVIF is a modern image format based on the AV1 video codec. It offers much better compression than JPG at similar quality and supports transparency, high dynamic range, and wide color. Current browsers support AVIF, but some older apps and editors cannot open it yet.
DCR is the image source or target format for this conversion path.
AVIF can use lossy or lossless compression and supports transparency and high bit depth.
The DCR pixels are decoded and written using AVIF compression and color capabilities.
Uploads and converted files are processed automatically and irreversibly deleted within 24 hours. You can delete them sooner with the delete control. Convertr does not read, mine, sell, or manually review file contents.
