EPS is a PostScript page description that may contain vector artwork, text, and embedded raster images.
What changes
The CR3 pixels are decoded and written using EPS compression and color capabilities.
- What is preserved
- Pixel dimensions and visible composition are preserved unless resize or crop settings are selected.
- What may be lost
- Layers, editable vectors, camera-raw controls, animation, high bit depth, and metadata are preserved only when EPS supports them.
- Codec and quality implications
- Color profile handling, bit depth, chroma sampling, and compression settings can change appearance or file size.
- Realistic limitations
- Multi-page, layered, animated, camera-raw, or very large images may be flattened, reduced to one frame, or rejected if the decoder cannot safely read them.
Conversion steps
- Upload a CR3 file no larger than 1 GB.
- Confirm that EPS is selected as the target.
- Start the conversion. A healthy compatible worker begins processing immediately.
- Download the EPS file and check the result before deleting your source.
Troubleshooting
- The CR3 file is rejected or will not open.
- Confirm that the file is not empty, password-protected, or corrupt and that its real format matches the extension.
- The EPS file is larger than expected.
- Choose a more efficient codec or lower quality setting when available. Lossless and uncompressed targets are often larger by design.
- Transparency, color, or animation changed.
- Choose a target that supports the needed feature and keep the original file; JPG cannot store transparency or animation.

Uploads and converted files are processed automatically and irreversibly deleted within 24 hours. You can delete them sooner with the delete control. Convertr does not read, mine, sell, or manually review file contents.
