Can I edit the Word file after the conversion?
Yes. The DOCX file contains real text and tables, not pictures of pages. You can edit it in Word, Google Docs or LibreOffice.
Does it work with Google Docs?
Yes. Upload the DOCX file to Google Drive and open it with Google Docs.
Can I convert the file on an iPhone or an Android phone?
Yes. On an iPhone or iPad, select Choose Files and pick the file in the Files app. On Android, save the file first, then choose it.
My file has a password. What can I do?
Convertr cannot open files with a password and never asks for one. Open the file in Pages, remove the password and upload the file again. You can also export the file directly in Pages.
My browser does not upload the file. Why?
Older files from Pages can be folders (packages), and browsers cannot upload folders. In Pages on a Mac, choose File > Advanced > Save as Single File. You can also compress the file in Finder and upload the ZIP file.
Are my files private?
Uploads and converted files are processed automatically and irreversibly deleted within 24 hours. You can delete them sooner with the delete control. Convertr does not read, mine, sell, or manually review file contents.
